  • 1 lbs Sirloin Steak  (3-4 steaks)
  • 3 tbsp butter, unsalted
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped shallots
  • 2 tsp minced parsley
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3 cups green beans
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated parmesan cheese for garnish


  • Pat each steak dry with a paper towel to absorb moisture 
  • Combine the lemon juice, herbs, and seasoning in a mixing bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined 
  • Melt 2 tbsp butter a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat
  • Dry rub the seasoning mixture on the steak and sear each steak for approximately 5 minutes per side depending on thickness of your steak and preferred doneness 
  • You can check with a thermometer (145 degrees F in the center of your steak means your steak is medium done)
  • When your steak is done fry the green beans in the skillet with the steak juices, shallots, garlic, 1 tbsp butter, and remaining seasoning. 
  • Sprinkle everything with Parmesan cheese
