Turkey Avocado Wraps With Low Carb Tortillas

I love keto turkey wrap recipes like this one with avocado and low carb tortillas. It’s perfect for meal preparation as meal planning because it’s healthy and tasty cold from the fridge. This keto recipe with ground turkey is great for low carb dieting and overall healthy eating. 

Whenever I make keto recipes with ground turkey I like to marinate the meat for a few hours. It’s not necessary of course but makes the meat a little tastier. That’s just my opinion anyway. 

Low carb keto wraps are my favorite meal prep for lunches and dinner. They’re so easy to make and keep fresh in seal tight containers. All you need to make this tortilla wrap recipe are a few fresh ingredients. 

Ingredients for keto turkey wrap include 1 pound ground turkey, 1/4 cup finely chopped onions, and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Also 2 tbsp seasoned salt, 1 tbsp ground mustard, and 2/3 cup crumbled ricotta cheese. More ingredients for my keto recipe with ground turkey include 1 large avocado and 6 large low carb tortillas.

There are many types of low carb tortillas you can get for making turkey wrap recipes. Brands

of low carb include: Mama Lupe Low-Carb Tortillas, Mission Carb Balance Soft Taco Flour Tortillas, La Tortilla Factory Whole Wheat Low-Carb Tortillas, Ole Mexican High-Fiber Low-Carb Flour Tortillas, and NUCO Coconut Wraps. 

The directions for this ground turkey wrap are super easy. In a large mixing bowl combine ground turkey, onions, lemon juice, and seasoning. Spray a large frying pan with non stick cooking spray and turn heat to medium/high. 

Add the seasoned turkey to the frying pan and turn heat down to medium. Use a large spoon to break up the turkey into small pieces. Cook the turkey for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. The turkey will turn a greyish-white color, and will begin to brown slightly.

Remove heat and set turkey aside to cool down some. Lay each tortilla flat and spread turkey across the top like a blanket. Add avocado slices and crumbled cheese. Roll entire turkey wrap recipe up like a rug. Roll it tight, and hold it tight, then cut into slices like you would a sushi roll. 

You can easily make 6 wraps out of this keto recipe with ground turkey
