The Best Recipe For Boneless Wings With Ranch

This recipe for boneless wings is super simple and flavorful. You definitely have to make the homemade ranch dressing with buttermilk too! This easy chicken dish is great for parties, get togethers, or just family lunch. If you don’t like it too spicy just replace the Buffalo wing sauce with something milder like BBQ. 

Homemade ranch dressing with buttermilk is the way to go for that salty creamy factor. Buttermilk is such a lovely sauce ingredient because it combines salty and creamy.  Other ingredients for the ranch includes: 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour cream, and 3 tsp orange juice. 

Seasonings for homemade ranch dressing with buttermilk includes 1 tsp dried Rosemary, 1/2 tsp dried thyme, and 1/2 tsp dried oregano. Also 1/2 tsp dried basil, 1/2 tsp black garlic powder, and 1 tsp sea salt. Don’t forget 1/2 tsp pepper and 1 tsp white wine vinegar.

Boneless Wings

This recipe for boneless wings requires the following ingredients 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, 1 cup all purpose flour, and 3 tbsp cornstarch. Also 3 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, and 1 tsp onion powder.  

You will also need 2 large eggs, 1 cup buttermilk, 1/4 cup heavy cream, and 1 cup vegetable oil for frying. I use 1 cup Buffalo Wing Sauce to soak the wings in after frying. Making the homemade ranch dressing with buttermilk is so easy as well

Start by combining the wet ingredients in one medium mixing bowl and whisk. Then add the dry sauce ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk them too. Then start slowly mixing the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and whisk. 

In order to make recipe for boneless wings cut up the chicken breast into 1.5 inch pieces. Whisk the eggs up in one bowl and the dry breading ingredients in a separate bowl. Soak the chicken in the eggs then dip in the breading, repeat this two times. Allow them to rest before deep frying them for 6 minutes.

  • 3 6 oz chicken breast Skinless, boneless
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup flour

  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • 1.5 cup Buffalo wing sauce

Instructions

Directions For The Sauce

  • Combine all the dry sauce ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk 
  • Combine all the wet ingredients in a separate bowl and whisk 
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and whisk vigorously until thoroughly combined 
  • Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve 

Directions For The Chicken

  • cut the chicken breast meat into 1.5 inch pieces 
  • Combine flour, cornstarch, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a medium mixing bowl and whisk 
  • In a separate bowl combine buttermilk, heavy cream, and eggs and whisk vigorously until thoroughly combined 
  • Dip each piece of chicken into the wet mixture then immediately into the dry breading mixture, then back to the wet mixture, then back to the flour until you have a good coating
  • Allow them to set for 15 minutes 
  • Bring the vegetable oil to a medium heat in a large skillet 
  • Fry about 8 pieces of chicken at a time 
  • Fry them for 6 minutes then remove them from the oil 
  • Immediately toss them into the Buffalo wing sauce
