Cream cheese ice cream is a great Keto recipe due to the fact that cream cheese is a low carb ingredient. I love keto cream cheese ice cream.

I’m having fun making Keto ice creams! It’s so easy to make them and they’re so delicious! My family members can’t even tell the difference between ketogenic IceCream and regular full sugar ones.

They just think I’m a nice momma who is making them tasty desserts! But I’m really making myself keto cream cheese ice cream.

What is this Keto sweetener all the recipes are using called Erythritol? Erythritol belongs to the class of compounds referred to as sugar alcohols. It’s great for keto cream cheese ice cream.

This particular sugar alcohol is a naturally occurring compound that stimulates the sweet taste receptors on your tongue. This mimics the taste of sugar. It is 80% sweeter than granular sugar with only 5% the calories. Which is perfect for Keto dessert recipes.

Other Keto friendly sweeteners include stevia, sucralose, and Splenda. You can use any of these sweeteners in this keto vanilla ice cream.

Having an ice cream maker makes this keto vanilla ice cream a lot faster and easier. They’re not overly expensive at all. You can get one for under 50$.

However if you don’t mind the extra hours needed to make ice cream by hand don’t worry. I’ve included instructions to make this keto vanilla ice cream with one.

If you’re not on a low carb diet simply replace the sugar free sweeteners with regular sugar and maple syrup!

You only need a few easy ingredients to make this Keto vanilla cheesecake ice cream. Ingredients needed include cream cheese, heavy whipping cream, and almond milk. Also vanilla extract, lemon juice, and Erythritol.

If you are using an ice cream maker be sure to freeze the pan the night before. Then combine all ingredients in a blender and blend. Pour ice cream mixture into ice cream maker.

It usually takes about 45 minutes to churn into keto vanilla ice cream. However I feel you do not have an ice cream maker follow these steps. Pour blended keto cream cheese ice cream mixture then pour into freezer safe pan. Use a hand held mixer to blend once ever hour for approximately 4 hours.

Equipment

  • ice cream maker
  • (or) freezer safe container and handheld mixer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup powdered erythritol
  • 1/8 cup sea salt

Instructions

  • Freeze the churning pan for the ice cream maker overnight
  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until thoroughly combined
  • Add to frozen ice cream maker pan and churn for about 45 minutes or whatever time the makers Instructions say
  • Pour into a 9 inch pan (lined with parchment paper is best) and place in freezer

How to make with out ice cream maker

  • add blended mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze.
  • Once every hour remove stir /whisk the ice cream mixture.
  • Do this for 3-4 hours while continuing to freeze
