Walden Farms have a wide variety of zero calorie sauce and syrups. And I’ll tell you the truth right now, they are not all that amazing. I have not tasted every single one though. For example I do like the Ranch dressing but not the Blue Cheese one. 

However the caramel syrup by Walden Farms is actually really delicious. It’s perfect for this low carb donuts recipe. Additionally it’s really thick when it’s properly chilled, which makes is great for dipping fruit and things. Another cool thing is that you can bake with it. It’s amazing for Keto breakfast.

This sugar free donuts recipe is my favorite salted caramel dessert. In fact it’s my favorite way to make baked donuts. These keto salted caramel donuts is one of the best Walden Farms recipes.

These baked donuts are so easy to make. You only need a few low carb ingredients. Including 8 oz cream cheese, 1 egg, and 1/4 cup Walden Farms zero calorie caramel syrup (to go into the donut batter). You also need 1/4 cup Walden Farms zero calorie caramel syrup (to drizzle on top of donuts), 1 tsp vanilla syrup, and 1 cup almond flour.

Other Keto ingredients include 1/4 cup confectioners erythritol, I tsp sea salt, 1 tsp baking soda. The sugar free donuts recipe is so easy to make. Start making this low carb donuts recipe by combining 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature), 1 egg, 1/4 cup Walden Farms caramel syrup, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.

Use an electric mixer to beat the wet ingredients for the baked donuts on low at first, then high, until thoroughly combined. Next, add the almond flour, baking soda and confectioners erythritol to the and beat again on high until thoroughly combined.

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Grease two 6 portioned donut pans. Pour the keto salted caramel donuts batter 3/4 full into each donut section of the pan. Use the remaining 1/4 cup caramel syrup on top of each uncooked donut.

Bake the low carb donuts recipe for 12 minutes.

  • 8 Oz Cream cheese
  • 1 Whole Egg
  • ¼ Cup

    Walden Farms Caramel Syrup

    to go into the donut batter

  • ¼ Cup

    Walden Farms Caramel Syrup

    to drizzle on top of donuts

  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup Almond flour
  • ¼ Cup powdered “confectioners” erythritol
  • 1 Tsp Baking soda
  • 1 Tsp Sea salt

Instructions

  • Start making this recipe by combining 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature), 1 egg, 1/4 cup Walden Farms caramel syrup, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl.
  • Use an electric mixer to beat these wet ingredients on low at first, then high, until thoroughly combined.
  • Next, add the almond flour, sea salt, baking soda and confectioners erythritol and beat again on high until thoroughly combined.
  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F
  • Grease two 6 portioned donut pans
  • Pour the doughnut batter 3/4 full into each donut section of the pan
  • Use the remaining 1/4 cup caramel syrup on top of each uncooked donut
  • Bake for 12 minutes and take out of the oven to cool off

I used these Zulay non stick donut pans and I love them! The donuts slide out so easily.
