Keto Fudgy Chocolate Cake Recipe

Here I go starting the Keto Diet again for the second time. One big reason I love the ketogenic diet is recipes like this Keto Fudgy Chocolate Cake Recipe!

It worked great the first time and after I hit my goal weight I transitioned to a plant based diet. Unfortunately I started snacking too much and gained some weight back! No big deal I’ll just eat super low carbs again and drop it.

All you need for this Keto chocolate cake is a few simple ingredients. Such as almond flour, eggs, and cocoa powder. Also cream cheese, butter, and whipping cream.

And baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Also orange extract and a few other items. This Keto chocolate cake take about 1 hour to make.

This Keto Recipe  is gluten free, low carb, and vegetarian.

Instructions For This Keto Cake are super easy. Start by Preheating the oven to 350 degrees F. Then In a large mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients and whisk.

Next In a separate bowl combine all wet ingredients and blend with an electric mixer. Add wet to dry and blend on medium until thoroughly combined. Then you can grease three 6-inch round cake pans and evenly pour batter between the pans.

Place the pans into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until you poke with a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool for minimum 4 hours in the fridge before frosting.

Directions For The Frosting are even easier. In a large mixing bowl bowl combine all frosting ingredients. And blend on medium and high until fluffy.

It is best to frost and assemble cake layers when frosting is at room temperature and cake is chilled.

For The Cake

  • 2 cups Almond flour blanched, fine
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup

    unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 cup

    sucralose

    or Keto sweetener of your choice
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp orange extract
  • 1 cup almond milk unsweetened

For The Frosting

  • 8 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup butter room temperature
  • 1 tsp orange extract
  • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup sucralose or Keto sweetener of your choice
