Keto Caramel Whipped Cream
This keto caramel whipped cream recipe has almost zero carbs. It’s absolutely mouth watering. I could have eaten the entire bowl, but that would be too much at one time! This sugar free whipped cream is a very low carb dessert.
I am not sponsored or paid by Walden Farms. I haven’t tasted all their calorie free sauces either. And I’ll be the first to tell you some of them …. are not great. I tried their calorie free blue cheese dressing once.
I ordered it online, used it once, then it sat in my refrigerator for 6 months unused before I finally just tossed it in the garbage. However, this whipped cream with Walden Farms Caramel Syrup is DELICIOUS. I was actually shocked how mouth watering it is. It doesn’t taste like chemicals at all either.
All you need to make this low carb whipped cream dessert is 2 cups heavy whipping cream, 4 oz cream cheese, and 1/4 cup Walden Farms Caramel Syrup.* You also need 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 cup powdered (confectioners) erythritol.
You can use a different type of keto friendly sugar replacement for this low carb whipped cream recipe if you prefer. However I recommend using a “powdered” version that measures equal to regular powdered sugar. That’s because it contributes to the keto frosting fluffiness.
The best way to get this sugar free whipped cream dessert to be nice and fluffy is to chill everything ahead of time. Put all the ingredients, the mixing bowl, and the beater sticks in the refrigerator the night before (or at least 4 hours).
If you can’t chill everything for the keto caramel whipped cream before hand that’s ok too, you can make the whipped cream THEN chill it for a few hours THEN beat it again with the electric mixer to get it to become fluffy.
In a large mixing bowl combine cream cheese, caramel syrup, and vanilla extract and beat with electric mixer until thoroughly combined. Then add the heavy cream and beat with electric mixer until thoroughly combined.
Next add the powdered erythritol to the sugar free whipped cream dessert and beat again until thoroughly combined. Continue to beat the whipped cream with the mixer on high until it becomes thick and fluffy.
If your low carb whipped cream mixture isn’t fluffing up, it’s probably not cold enough. Store the mixing bowl in the refrigerator for an hour or two and try to beat it again.
