It’s so easy to make instant pot frozen chicken! You will never need to worry about defrosting your meat again once you try this recipe. It’s perfect for all kinds of chicken meat too, breast, thighs, drumsticks, or whatever you need. Anytime you’re in a rush and need that bird done quickly just pop it in your instant pot!

What ingredients do you need for this Instant pot frozen chicken?

  • 1 lbs chicken meat of your choice, I used skinless breast meat – (frozen)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 onion

How do you make it?

Step 1. Drizzle the oil over the chicken and sprinkle the seasoning on as well.

Step 2. Place the chicken and the onion into the instant pot.

Step 3. Close the lid and steamer valve 

Step 4. Pressure cook on high for 2 minutes. 

Step 5. Flip the chicken over and pressure cook on high for 2 minutes.

Step 6. Pour in the chicken broth and pressure cook on high for 6 minutes and set the steam release for 10 minutes.
