Easy Keto Chocolate IceCream Recipe

My family members can’t even tell the difference between ketogenic IceCream and regular full sugar ones. So they jut think I’m a nice momma who is making them tasty desserts! You will adore this Easy Keto Chocolate IceCream Recipe.

It’s basically summer time so I’m having fun making Keto ice creams! It’s so easy to make them and they’re so freaking delicious!

Unsweetened Cocoa powder is great for Keto recipes. That’s because it’s low in carbs and sweet tasting. Cocoa comes from a died and fermented seed from the cocoa tree.

The pods are opened during harvest in order to collect the seeds. A machete is often used to crack the pods open! Empty pods are throw away. The seeds are stored in a warm place to ferment where they turn dark brown like the chocolate we see in stores.

Easy Keto Chocolate IceCream Recipe

One tablespoon of cocoa powder contains only 12 calories. The cocoa powder full of antioxidants, protein, potassium, and fiber. Furthermore it’s rich in iron, vitamin B6, and magnesium.

Cocoa is also rich in caffeine making it even better for your low carb and Keto Diet. This is due to the fact that caffeine suppresses the appetite!

The cocoa bean is rich in Polyphenols. Polyphenols are antioxidants that are linked to reduced inflammation, lower blood pressure and healthy cholesterol and blood sugar.

Another antioxidant found in cocoa is called flavanols. Flavanols are a potent antioxidant with many health benefits such as anti inflammatory properties.

The Health benefits of consuming cocoa include lower blood pressure, lower risk of heart problems such as a stroke. It promotes better blood flow to the brain and helps boost your mood.

Raw cocoa powder also lowers the risk of depression, and can improve symptoms of type 2 diabetes.

You only need 5 simple ingredients for this delicious low carb dessert.

All you need is heavy cream, egg yikes, and erythritol. Also cocoa powder and vanilla extract. It’s so easy to make too.

First Dissolve unsweetened cocoa powder in warm water (around 2 tbsp) And whisk to avoid clumps in ice cream. The Refrigerate whipping cream overnight as well for best results.

Freeze the churning pan for the ice cream maker overnight. Combine all ice cream ingredients in a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.

Add to frozen ice cream maker pan and churn for about 45 minutes or whatever time the makers Instructions say.

  • ice cream maker
  • or freezer safe pan and high speed blender

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup powdered erythritol
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Dissolve unsweetened cocoa powder in warm water (around 2 tbsp) And whisk to avoid clumps in ice cream
  • Refrigerate whipping cream overnight as well for best results
  • Freeze the churning pan for the ice cream maker overnight
  • Combine all ice cream ingredients in a blender and blend until thoroughly combined
  • Add to frozen ice cream maker pan and churn for about 45 minutes or whatever time the makers Instructions say

Instructions if you don’t have an ice cream maker!

  • add blended mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze.
  • Once every hour remove stir /whisk the ice cream mixture.
  • Do this for 6-8 hours while continuing to freeze until completely firm before serving.
