This homemade pizza roll recipe is so fast. It only takes 5 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to bake. Additionally you only need 3 easy cheap ingredients

You can use any brand of crescent rolls for crescent roll pizza pockets recipe. I bought the “Signature Select” brand because it was the cheapest. However you can use pillsbury crescent rolls or whatever you prefer. 

The cheap and easy ingredients include 8oz package of crescent rolls, 2 cup marinara tomato sauce, and 5 string cheeses. Not only can you use any brand of crescent rolls, you can use any kind of sauce and string cheese for this family recipe

This easy recipe for pizza pockets only needs 3 ingredients

Easy Crescent Roll Pizza Pockets Recipe

Making these pizza rolls are so quick and easy also. First Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then Line your baking pan with parchment paper. 

Next Separate the crescent roll dough into 4 rectangular pieces. There are actually 8 individual crescent rolls, however they stick to each other. So 8 triangular pieces of dough can easily be 5 rectangular rolls. 5 is best for this recipe for pizza pockets.

Lay the rectangular dough crescent rolls flat on the baking sheet. Then Smother with your favorite tomato sauce. About 2-3 tbsp of sauce per roll is perfect.

At the shorter edge of each rectangular crescent roll line with 1 whole string cheese. Holding the edge of the dough and the string cheese roll it into itself like a rug. Top the crescent roll pizza pockets with extra strips of string cheese and sauce.

Bake this easy recipe for pizza pockets for only 10 minutes. Allow pizza pockets to cool off for 10-15 minutes. The pizza pockets are Ready to serve!
