All you need to make this keto pasta recipe with carne asada is 1 medium pumpkin (not giant) (such a the lantern pumpkin is approximately the size of a volleyball. On average, they weigh 7-11 pounds.)

Crockpot Pumpkin Noodles With Carne Asada

All you need is 8 oz cream cheese, 2 cups beef, or chicken broth. Also 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp pepper, 1/2 tbsp garlic powder, and 1/2 tbsp onion powder. The keto steak is so simple as well. You just need approximately 1.25 pounds Beef Sirloin Flap Meat Sliced (Carne Asada Meat).

Ingredients for the carne asada recipe marinade include 1/2 cup orange juice, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar.  Also 1/2 medium jalapeño (rinsed with guts and seeds removed) chopped, and 1 tbsp chili powder. Other seasoning for the keto steak include 1 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp paprika, and 1/2 tsp cumin.

How to cook pumpkin noodles in the crockpot is easy. Start by prepping the pumpkin by cutting off the top and bottom. Next use a vegetable peeler to remove the outside skin. Then cut it in half and remove all the guts and seeds.

Next cut the pumpkin in quarters. Now combine all the keto pumpkin recipe with cream cheese sauce ingredients in the crockpot, turn it on high, and put the lid on. After about an hour stir it around a bit with a large spoon. Allow to cook on high for two hours.

Fry The Carne Asada: drizzle a little vegetable oil in a large skillet pan and bring to a high heat. Once the pan is searing hot, place the Carne Asada steak meat down. Heat for 3 minutes per side for medium rare and 5 minutes per side for medium well, and 7 minutes per side for well done.

Once the keto steak is removed from the pan allow it to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing to avoid losing too much juice and drying out. Helpful tip once you have seared the meat, if the pan is becoming too dry, pour some left over marinade from the bag into the pan with the steak.
