Cheesy Chicken Pasta Casserole With Cream Of Mushroom

Cream of mushroom recipes like this chicken casserole with noodles are out of this world delicious. The flavors are amazingly tasty and comforting. Once you try this dish just one time it will immediately become one of your go to dinner ideas. Everyone loves the creamy sauce combined with tender noodles and crispy chicken. 

Cream of mushroom soup is one of my favorite easy dinner ingredients! This condensed soup is so versatile and flavorful for pastas and meat meals. It’s a smooth, rich combination of mushrooms and cream with garlic and spices. Some of my go to brands include Campbells, Kroger, and Great Value. Any brand you choose will taste delicious in your Cream of mushroom recipes like this chicken casserole with noodles. 

I like to use wide egg noodles but you can really use any kind of small pasta. For example you can use bow ties, macaroni noodles, rigatoni, etc. I adore all kinds of pasta recipes and traditional Italian dishes. Pasta shells make a great inheritor because the sauce gets tucked away inside the little crevices.

What ingredients do you need for Cream of mushroom recipes like this chicken casserole with noodles?

  • 1 lbs chicken tenderloin cutlets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp seasoned salt
  • 10.75 oz cream of mushroom soup
  • 32 oz wide egg noodles
  • 1 cup water
  • 24 oz spaghetti sauce of your choice
  • 8oz heavy cream
  • 2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan

How do you make Cream of mushroom recipes like this chicken casserole with noodles?

Step 1. Season the chicken cutlets and bring the olive oil to a medium high heat in a skillet.

Step 2. Sear the chicken for 2 minutes per side then set it aside.

Step 3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 4. Combine the cream of mushroom soup and water in a standard casserole dish and mix it up. 

Step 5. Dump the egg noodles into the casserole dish as well and stir.

Step 6. Pour in the spaghetti sauce and heavy cream and stir until combined.

Step 7. Make a layer of shredded cheese using 1 cup of the cheese.

Step 8. Disperse the seared chicken cutlets into the casserole on top of everything.

Step 9. Use the rest of the shredded cheese to make another layer of cheese.

Step 10. Bake the casserole for 20 minutes then rest it for 15 minutes in the oven to thicken.

Step 11. Sprinkle the Parmesan on top of the casserole!
